Color Palette: Using Tile & Stone for Inspiration

Chances are the tile or stone lining the shower in your bathroom is the single largest swatch of color in your bathroom.  So, it naturally becomes the color or one of the main colors in your palette.  In the Room of the Week, the gray, black and white tones in the stone in the shower are carried throughout the bathroom and brings harmony to the design.  Here are a few other bathroom color palette ideas I pulled together, using pieces of stone I thought were beautiful.

Just a tip: keep in mind that the color of the wood and the color of the metals in the room are part of the color palette.  Wood can be orange toned, chocolate, light ash, etc.  And metals come in a wide range of colors. Make sure these two elements work with your color palette.
