Design in the Details: Creating a French Country Kitchen

I admitted yesterday that French country is definitely not my style, but I think the Room of the Week is a beautiful example of French country done in a modern way.

Here are four more scenario kitchens that take 3 major French country design elements ( a curvy chandelier, a toile pattern, and a rustic wood table), and combines them to create French country kitchens with different moods.  Same elements, all in a French Country style, but completely different feelings.

Which one is your favorite?  Do you like the eclectic bold red and yellow in scenario 3 or the soft whites in scenario 2?  I’d love to know!

P.S. – Toile fabric basically means that the fabric is printed with repeating scenes.
