School Project: A French Country Kitchen

Last semester in one of my interior design classes we were assigned to do a mood board, floor plan and elevations for a living room/kitchen..and I was randomly assigned to make it French country style.  Since our Room of the Week is French Country I thought I would share my project.

Here is the mood board I created, which includes furnishings, fabric, paint and flooring.  I went with a very traditional design…much different from the Room of the Week.

And, here are my drawings:

I’m signing off early for the weekend…one of my favorite people in the whole world is coming tomorrow and I don’t want to miss a minute.  See you Monday!
