Applied Design: A Town & Country Mix

The more I study the Room of the Week, the more I can see the subtleties in the way the furniture and accessories are placed together to show off their best attributes.  Throughout the room there is a mix of high/low, shiny/matte, rough/smooth and simple and elegant.  It’s this clever mix that keeps this modern room from becoming cold and uninviting while at the same time making sure it doesn’t become too cushy.
