I love having succulents in my garden outside. They remind me of my home in California, they are incredibly easy to care for and grow quickly, and they have tons of interesting shapes and colors. I wanted to bring them indoors for the Winter (just like the little pots of succulents in the Room of the Week), but instead of having lots of pots around my house I combined them together. My father-in-law built this large box out of some old wood and it’s been sitting empty for months just waiting for inspiration to hit. I decided it was the perfect size to combine all my pots and the perfect centerpiece for my dining table.
I was going to style it up cute in my dining room, but I’m pretty sure my 7-year-old would be devastated if I moved the puzzle she’s working on. So, you get some simple pictures from my backyard. I’m thinking that next summer when the succulents fill in the box will look really great.
I’ve been enjoying working in my garden these first weeks of Autumn. And, this weekend promises to have perfect weather. I hope you enjoy your weekend!
