The artwork above the fireplace in the Room of the Week is the focal point of the room and for me the piece de resistance. It defines the color palette and gives you a glimpse of the personality of the person who calls this room home. I’m sure this piece of art remains up year-round, but it would be really fun to have something similar you displayed only at Halloween time as a more grown-up decoration that would thrill kids of all ages. And, with the rise of Etsy you can find lots of original paintings and posters centered around Halloween.
