Design is in the Details: Clever Camouflage

One of my favorite details in the Room of the Week is the gorgeous collection of pottery scattered atop the table.  It successfully competes with the other artwork and furnishings to draw your eye into the room and make you want to check it out.  And, its beauty distracts you from that trashcan hidden underneath.

I created a Pinterest board full of lots of little tips and tricks to hiding those functional but less beautiful details we all have in each of our rooms.  So, if you’re looking for a way to hide that unsightly cord, thermostat, box of supplies, appliance, etc…head on over and check it out!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a peek at my Christmas tree!
