Applied Design: A Thread of Color

One of my favorite things about the Room of the Week is the way it flows with the rest of the house.  Small touches of that beautiful orange-red accent color are woven through every room creating a very coordinated house that feels unified and has an easy flow.  And, the color is never applied the same way twice.

Do you have a favorite color that appears in every room of your house?  Mine used to be blue, but it’s slowly morphed to green the past few years, and it really helps to unify my compartmentalized townhouse built before open floor plans were the thing to do.
