Applied Design: Traditional & Modern Mix

Design firm Nickey Kehoe did such a fantastic job combining traditional and modern elements in the Room of the Week which make it feel equal parts comfortable and current.

There are so many ways to use this combination.  I’ve brainstormed just a few ideas to show you what a traditional & modern combination looks like.

Do you have any additional tips for mixing traditional and modern?  I’d love to hear how you mix in your own home.
