Design is in the Details:Primary-Colored Kitchen Accessories

One of my favorite details from the Room of the Week is the lack of “color” anywhere except in the kitchen accessories.  The continuous wood throughout the space is the perfect warm backdrop to the bright primary-colored accessories.  And, even though the kitchen is modern in style, the accessories all have a vintage vibe that brings an element of fun to the room. Mid-century pottery and kitchen tools were often brightly hued and Etsy is a great place to look for accessories in these colors.

I pulled together some great kitchen accessories, all vintage or vintage-inspired, in those beautiful primary colors.  And, I think the key to mixing them together is to make sure that all the accessories are equally saturated in color.
