Make A Plan For: A Welcoming Front Porch

I mentioned earlier this week that I decided May was the month for making plans.  I shared a beautiful front porch this week and today I wanted to focus on how you can make your own front porch just as beautiful and functional.  Usually before interior designers purchase anything for a project they have made a plan and thought through all the details.  And, you should too, to make sure you can see the end from the beginning.  It will help you make the best design decisions for your space, keep you focused while your shopping, and deter you from making costly mistakes.

Here’s a simple checklist to follow to create your own welcoming front porch.  Don’t worry if your porch isn’t big enough for chairs or lanterns…try to focus on how the steps might apply to your own unique home.
