Color Palettes: Art-Inspired & Beachy

It’s no secret that I love a blue and white color palette.  So crisp and clean, and totally applicable to any style.  The soft blue, white and cream color palette in the Room of the Week is so soothing. I’m not sure which came first…the piece of art on the mantle or the color palette…either way it’s inspiring, especially as we head into the heat of summer.  I can definitely imagine cooling off in this room after a hot day outdoors.

Artwork is a great way to find inspiration or a color palette you know you will love.  Here are 3 different pieces of artwork I love right now that all have a blue/white color palette, and how I might decorate a room around them.

If you love this coastal color palette as much as I do check out these other posts on incorporating coastal colors (even if you don’t live by the beach), and how to use a sand, sea, sky color palette.
