A Midwestern Bungalow: A Real-life Example

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 presetWe stayed at my sister-in-laws darling bungalow in Indiana this week.  She and her husband have been renting this cute house for just a few months and have worked so hard with the landlord to update and renovate this almost hundred year old home.  I thought I would share some of my favorite rooms.  Let’s go!

The Living Room
They refinished the original wood floors and they turned out so lovely.  And, gave everything a fresh coat of the prettiest blue-green paint, which really helps to lighten up the entire house.

The Dining Room
The original wallpaper is still in the dining room. And, we were playing with new fabric options for the pillows on the windowseat to lighten everything up and still work with the wallpaper.

I hope you enjoyed a peek at this darling little home.  I’ll be back next week with a traditional Room of the Week.
