How To: Four Elements Create the Perfect Kids Workspace

The Room of the Week is a really lovely example of a kids workspace. Even if you can’t afford to build-in a workspace for your kids, you can achieve a similar look and functionality with just four simple pieces.

  1. Pick a rug in a color palette and pattern you (and your kids!) love.
  2. Decide what kind of desk set-up you need…a pair for kids to share? A small desk for one?
  3. Find a cute desk chair in your color palette…make sure its comfy for those long homework sessions.
  4. Top it off with a light, so your kids can see what they’re doing!
