A Well-Lit Kitchen

The longer I look at photos of the Room of the Week the more I can see the amazing attention paid to even the smallest of details.  The way the kitchen is lit is the perfect example of adding beauty and function simultaneously.

No where in the home is lighting more important than a kitchen (well, maybe in the bathroom).  A mix of hidden lighting (recessed, inside cabinet and under cabinet) and visible lighting ( pendants and sconces) makes this kitchen work hard and look lovely no matter what time of day.

Check out all this lighting in the Room of the Week!

A Well-Lit Kitchen | www.theanatomyofdesign.comI love the way the fixtures don’t match, but instead coordinate with similar shapes and metal finishes.
