Room of the Week: Decorated for Christmas

I picked the Room of the Week because it’s lovely, but also because I thought it would be such a fun room to decorate for Christmas.  I’m guessing that the owners of this fun room subscribe to the “more is more” decorating philosophy, which I’m carrying into the Christmas decor.  I’m starting with a modern white Christmas tree , adding gold and silver accents and a dash of hot pink, along with a mix of new and vintage elements to match the decor.

Here’s my plan!

The Coffee Table: Gold & Silver Bottle Brush Trees | Gold Plated Glass Hurricane
The Ceiling: Paper Pendant Moravian Star
The Sofa: Merry & Bright Throw Pillow
The Gallery Wall: Framed Holiday Art
The Christmas Tree: Blue Wood Bead Garland | Gold & Silver Moravian Star Ornaments | Gold & Silver Metal Sphere Ornaments | Embroidered Gold OrnamentGold Mercury Glass Ornaments | Oversized Silver Mercury Ornaments | Box of 50 Gold & Silver Ornaments | Mini Hot Pink Ornaments | Hot Pink Tassel Ornament | Pink Geo Ornament | Flocked White Christmas Tree

What do you think of the color palette?  Does your Christmas tree match your decor?  Stick with a traditional red/green color palette?  I’d love to hear!
